I have been writing for 10 years and in that time I have searched for artists to create covers for my work. The only artist's work that caught my eye was Laura's beautiful digital paintings. Notes:
1.) I require a 50% advance against the total fee before I can begin your project. The remainder is due upon approval of the final image(s) but before delivery of the high resolution image or print.
A signed contract is necessary before I can schedule time for your project.
2.) I generally do not take projects on speculation. I will only consider royalty offers from established, stable, companies with large distribution networks. I do not work for free!
3.) Paypal is my preferred method of payment, as it allows me to accept a range of credit cards, e-checks, etc, has a great invoicing feature, and is free (for the Client) and secure.
4.) I reserve the right to refuse any commission that I deem inappropriate for my portfolio.

*Digital Cover Painting: A careful read of your manuscript or study of your specific cover description followed by thumbnails and sketches toward a satisfactory layout. I then create a custom original digital painting to the level of those showcased in my portfolio. You receive the full-resolution uncompressed file that is ready for print. Price varies with rights needed, size, and scope of the publication. I can also do the full wrap design (including title text) if necessary. $400-$1,500 flat rate fee and/or royalties.
**RPG Character Portrait: A full-body portrait of your character with a gradient-style painterly background, with complementary 12"x18" signed photo print (see print specifications here). $300. Same as previous with fully detailed background (can include up to two other creatures or characters) of your choice: $500. Adequate-sized digital file provided for personal use (internet, wallpaper, icons, etc.). Artist retains all rights to image.
